Welcome to Crichie.org
This is the website of Stuartfield, a picturesque village near Mintlaw in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The village population is approximately 750 and has a primary school with a roll of 130 and a friendly and active community.

 CHRICHIE DOES IT AGAIN

Stuartfield has been awarded 1st prize in the 2011 Buchan in Bloom contest!

Community association secretary, Fiona Thomson said "Well done everyone in Stuartfield for keeping their gardens, tubs and baskets in such good order and thanks to everyone involved in the planting and maintenance of the community areas and tubs."

The village of Stuartfield (Crichie) is situated in Central Buchan 25 miles North of Aberdeen and 10 miles west of Peterhead. It is surrounded on three side by sheltering hills leaving the north aspect open and flat.

Stuartfield is currently experiencing a period of exceptional growth. In the last 20 years the population has grown from around 400 to 800, with considerable expansion planned for the next 5 to 10 years.

The object of the development of crichie.org is to offer this fast growing community an easily accessed connection to individuals with common interests who may then share the rich Crichie community identity.
